The A.G.M. on Saturday, 3rd September was attended by 33 members and two visitors.

The committee and members’ were thanked for their help during the year and for generously loaning plants for the various displays.

The Spring Show was also a success, although we had less people through the door. Thank you to Kerstin who already

has the Spring Show booked for next year, this will be on April 7th, 2012.

We received one nomination, Marianne Lindsey was nominated for a position on the committee.

The A.G.M. was followed by the auction, Thank you to Malcolm Moodie, our auctioneer this year.

There was a huge quantity of plants, keeping Malcolm busy all afternoon, with some plants being left unsold as we unfortunately

ran out of time, a total of £36.86 was raised for society funds.

Zigis’s collection was also auctioned, and along with other donations a total of £294 was donated to the society in his memory.
